Visual editor loading delay

    After one of my websites updated to 4.6 I’m having an issue with editing and creating posts and pages. The post edit page gets stuck loading the load-scripts.php for exactly 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the visual editor finally loads but then I can’t switch to Text (HTML) editor. This is happening on every page and post, new and old. I tried disabling all the plugins and changing the theme to one of the default ones, flushing cache, but the issue doesn’t go away.

    Looks like the issue is only present on my Linux workstation, just booted into Windows 7 and everything works fine. What could be the issue? Maybe it’s the new “Content Recovery” that saves content locally that has some issues on Linux?

    BTW I tried editing pages in Firefox on Linux and it has the same issue as in Chrome.
