• Greetings,

I have an odd problem – the visual editor disappeared for a single website, and in a single browser. No problem with Opera, Chrome, or IE (!), but Firefox 39.0 won’t show the visual editor for one web site out of the 14 I maintain – and Firefox is my go-to browser.

I’ve cleared the cookies and cache in browsing history, and de-activated all the plugins – to no avail. Any words of wisdom as to what the problem might be?

The site is brand new, and is at cpusafety.siterubix.com

    Thanks much,

    Dennis

Try deactivating all Firefox add-ons. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

FYI, Firefox 39.0 in Windows 7 Pro 64bit works fine for me, but I only have my one blog.

Now, if it’s not working for only one of the websites you maintain, then it’s possible that website is triggering some ad-blocking filter or similar thing.

Like James mentioned, restarting Firefox with add-on disabled (Help -> Restart with Add-ons Disabled) will help to determine if an add-on is causing it.

Likewise, no problems in Firefox 39.0 under OS X 10.10.4.
