Only on XP machines ( only difference I can see) all plugins off, all cache/history cleared, same sign ons used on several XP PCs and several Windows 10 machines

Text posted in Visual Editor adds this code on XP machines
    <span data-mce-type=”bookmark” style=”display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;” class=”mce_SELRES_start”></span>

    All using Chrome

    How do I fix?

Hi! It’s probably something with your theme. I’ve found some topics about this same issue, and here is a workaround:

    Install Advanced TinyMCE Configuration

And for the settings, option name wp_keep_scroll_position and its value false

A different text also refers to this wp_keep_scroll_position option.

You can also use Health Check to change your theme to a WordPress one, without changing it to other users.

I solved problem by switching to FireFox on the XP machines. Hope that it stays solved.
