    Great plugin!
And I have discovered, that it can be used with https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/go-gallery/ too!

And that’s the catch. Maybe MLA offers the same filter and styling options like Go Gallery. But visual examples (Gallery + Coding) like in http://wpdemo.vantco.com/gogallery/ which can be copied and edited (use my own categories instead) are not to find 🙁

You have a big documentation, … but only text and very technical. Not easy to use for beginners. So, please, provide also such visual examples and eventually much more people can use the full power of your great plugin and its galleries!

And if you can provide a Shortcode-Generator, also real WP beginners can use and would love MLA galleries!
    a) … select categories, filters, styles, … per click and copy the generated result!
    b) … and do that with a button in the visual WP Editor, … YES!

Thanks for your positive feedback and for your comments. Thanks as well for the tip regarding the Go Gallery plugin and the link to its site.

Although they lack the visual examples in the Go Gallery examples, you can find several [mla_gallery] examples in the “MLA Gallery Examples” section of the Settings/Media library Assistant Documentation tab. There are other examples in the sections that discuss topics like pagination.

I know the MLA documentation is more reference than tutorial, exhaustive and exhausting. I regret that I don’t have the time and talent to prepare more materials and video tutorials. That’s partly why I devote my time to working through support requests. You can find some additional information in this earlier topic and the topics it links to:

I have done some thinking about a shortcode generator. The WordPress core team is actively working on a project to facilitate this:

    shortcode UI

    Shortcake (plugin)

I am waiting for this project to come to fruition so I can make anything I do as “WordPress-like” as I can.

I am marking this topic resolved, but if you have specific problems or questions I encourage you to open a new topic and let me help you get the most out of MLA. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
