Visual Form editor will not load

    I have installed GiveWP Free version for the purpose of evaluation before I outlay funds for an annual plan. I have been able to conect payment gateways and eveything seems to function except the Form builder element. I have read and seen that this is likely because of a conflict in the PHP. These are the two issues:

    My Visual Form editor will not load – just stays on “preparing your form design…”

    When I click on “save as draft” I get told “error” contact support…

    I don’t use All in One SEO and I am awaiting the sites PHP Error log from server manager.

    Hello @aaronish ,

    Glad you reached out, happy to help.

    Thanks for ruling out the AIO SEO plugin conflict. I’ve also seen that “stall” when attempting to edit a visual builder form when your site is getting memory errors. If your PHP logs have that entry it will look like this:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of (a number here) bytes exhausted

    This is easily adjusted by adding a higher memory amount to your PHP.ini file. This is something your web host would be able to change for you.

    If it’s not that error, please send along the error log when you receive it, and also provide your system info. To do this, navigate to GiveWP > Tools > System Info (tab), click the button to Get System Report and copy/paste ALL of the text in your reply to us here.  This is a (silent) screen video showing you were to find this information in your WordPress admin: https://www.loom.com/share/28139090d53c4fb5a26ea11dd04d0227

    Thanks for your reply. While I haven’t been able to confirm it I believe it may have been a memory issue as I have been able to get the form designer to load and save, just now. I am still waiting to confirm this with my web host/server manager/provider. Thank you again.
