visual post editor

    When I am writing posts in visual post editor a dotted, rectangular bar appears that surrounds the text as I am typing. It seems to alter the line spacing as well. The rectangular bar also has boxes in each corner that can be used to re-size the bar.
    I have deactivated plug-ins to see if there was a conflict but that did not seem to correct it.
    Has anyone seen this?

    to rule out any plugin/theme specific conflict, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
