Votes don’t work

Votes don’t work with latest version, the browser console shows this error:

jquery.min.js:2 Uncaught TypeError: a(...).live is not a function
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (idea-factory.js:1:8061)
    at e (jquery.min.js:2:30038)
    at t (jquery.min.js:2:30340)

Hi @fernandot,

Thanks for support request. I am unable to repeat this on my end.

Are you sure the issue is being caused by our plugin? Because we don’t actually have a file called idea-factory.js. Have you made any customisations?

If you have any browser, website and server caching in place, you should try deleting this in case there’s a versioning issue with scripts.

I’ve purged all caches and the problem persists.

The file is located (as per browser console) in /wp-content/plugins/idea-factory/public/assets/js/idea-factory.js so I’ve figured out that belongs to your plugin and I haven’t done any changes to it, actually I updated it yesterday to last version

Thanks for your reply. No this is not our plugin. Our plugin is called ideapush not idea-factory. You are referring to this plugin here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/idea-factory/ which is not ours.

But hey, maybe try out our plugin, you might like it better! Anyway, I hope the other developers can resolve your issue.
