Hello
When voting, the page should scroll at the top of the poll so voters can see the error/success message.
But in your case(and many others) it scrolls to the top of the page.
So this behaviour will be removed in the next release.

First of all, this is an awesome plugin and thank you very much for your creation.
I wanted to comment on this: “So this behaviour will be removed in the next release.”. Very unfortunate, because now voters don’t see error messages and notifications at all, unless they scroll back up. I had to roll back to the previous version.

This is the reason why we’ve added this functionality in the first place.
But some users had issues with it where it was scrolling at the top of the page instead at the top of the poll.
And even if we’ve seen it on different pages, we were unable to replicate on our end to be able to troubleshoot.
With that said, what would be the best solution here?
Re-add it and also add an option in admin to disable it?

Oh, that would be awesome if it’s not a hassle for you. Even without a graphical option, just a manual config file tweak would be much appreciated in my opinion.

Or maybe add an option to choose the location for the notification message?
Top or Bottom with scrolling disabled when Bottom is selected?
This is what we have implemented in the pro version.

If there is a choice between the two, I would keep the scrolling, because most users just won’t notice the notifications (people just don’t read sadly), but if the voting button scrolls out of the screen area, then they will know they have to do something again, it puts them into a “something is missing or not right, you should start over” like situation.
If there would be a free choice of mine, then perhaps I would try to change the text and the color of the vote button, because they already focus on that when they try to vote, so they would see why they can’t.
Just my two cents, your plugin is already a masterpiece and I’m completely fine on the current version if this is too much work for you, I just disabled autoupdate on the plugin.
