    Hey,

    Report number: ZXFZFPGM

I’m using your plugin on the website linked to this ticket. For some reason, the VPI cron inconsistently detects images on desktop. For example, on this post:
    https://lauravergne.fr/savons-personnalises-mariage/
    …it correctly detects 3 images:

    • logo_blanc-RR-300.png
    • DSC05429-2-e1695836251699-300×300.jpg
    • 09_30_2023_Elise_Bastien-745-1024×683.jpg

However, on the homepage, it only detects the logo (logo_blanc-RR-300.png) and nothing else on desktop.

In both cases, it never detects any images on mobile.

The crawler seems to work but frequently “misses” the crawl (see screenshot below), even after adjusting the limits to increase speed and server load.

I also found the VPI documentation on your site to be quite limited, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to resolve this.

    Could you please help?

    Thanks in advance!

@srossignol quick update here: we are able to reproduce the issue. We are looking into a solution.
But, we are not able to give you an estimate when is going to be done. We will be back to you when solution is added.

Ok, clear. Thank you for your help.
No existing workaround in the meantime?

@srossignol you can add the image as VPI manually. In page editor(with default editor, not elementor or others) there is a textarea to add VPI images manually.
But add both desktop and mobile sizes for same image, if needed.

@srossignol looking over your homepage and debugging the code into our VPI script I was able to figure it out: indeed, there are 2 images on first screen, but one of them is set as css background.

We are not handling background images in our scripts 🙁
You can manually add the background image into VPI field for the page: https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/metabox/

Thank you @litetim. I wasn’t sure you were handling background images with VPI. I now know that I’ll have to manually enter the image name to the VPI field. 🙂

    Thanks again.
