VSEL plugin update version 13.0

    Hi,

    Last VSEL version (13.0) contains several major changes.

    There are some changes that can break your Custom CSS now and in the future:

    Now:

    • Meta values are now wrapped in div instead of p tags

    In the future:

    • Changed CSS class of meta section, event info section and featured image
    • Class vsel-meta becomes vsel-meta-left
    • Class vsel-image-info becomes vsel-image-info-right
    • Class vsel-image becomes vsel-image-right

    Old CSS classes are still present but will be removed in next update.

    CSS classes vsel-meta-right, vsel-image-info-left and vsel-image-left don’t change.

    I have changed these classes to make clear how these elements float (left or right).

    So in case of Custom CSS please update this as soons as possible.

    Old CSS classes are still present but will be removed in next update.

    In case of fixes (such as version 13.1) I don’t remove those CSS classes yet.
    I will inform you about this via the changelog.

    I’m thinking about using the following CSS structure.

    For Event Detalis section:

    vsel-meta-left vsel-meta
vsel-meta-right vsel-meta
vsel-meta-full vsel-meta

    For Event Info section:

    vsel-image-info-left vsel-image-info
vsel-image-info-right vsel-image-info

    For Featured Image:

    vsel-image-left vsel-image
vsel-image-right vsel-image

    With the first class the float is set (left/right) and with the second class styling is added. This way you don’t have to add styling twice (for left and right class).

    Every second class is currently being used by plugin, so this will not break much customizations that are being made.

    I will inform you about this via the changelog.

    Version 13.6 contains the CSS structure mentioned above.

    This means the changes that are listed in first item of this thread are not relevant anymore.
