Hi, I have found a vulnerability. If I associate my gmail account it is used to send spam emails using an Elementor plugin module. If I deactivate your plugin and use another SMTP to send emails this does not happen.

    Hi @danydany79,

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention!

Please kindly note that the WP Mail SMTP plugin acts as a bridge, connecting your WordPress site with your email provider. This connection ensures that your website sends emails using an authenticated email account, which is crucial for email deliverability.

Based on the information you’ve provided, it seems like there’s been some spam activity on your site. To prevent such activities, it’s important to enable spam protection on all of your web forms, including user registration, password reset forms, newsletter sign-up forms, contact forms, and others. For more detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation on troubleshooting spam issues.

Additionally, you can inspect your debug events to identify which forms might have been triggered. Here’s how you can debug email sending issues.

I hope this helps resolve the issue. Thank you!
