I am using the W3 Total Cache plugin. I am caching css and js files. However, this is giving me Mixed Content errors on my webpage, where the page requests an insecure http:// element in the /cache/minify folder.

I am going through all the settings for W3 Total Cache and going to Performance > Minify > Rewrite URL Structure, I believe that should be unchecked. Will that solve the issue though?

Another approach I took was installing the “HTTP / HTTPS Remover: SSL Mixed Content Fix” plugin, but the issue still persists.

    Hello @adamiani,

    Are you using Auto Minify?
Minify can be tricky and sometimes requires fine-tuning. Have you tried using Manual Minify and add JS and CSS files manually?

    Hi @vmarko,

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve had it set to Manual Minify since yesterday and haven’t seen any issues yet, but the issue is very intermittent. I’ll follow up if that doesn’t solve the issue.

    Hello @adamiani,

This should resolve your issue. As I said, Minify can be tricky sometimes and you need to use Manual minify and put JS and CSS files in correct order.
