When I attempt to install the W3 Total Cache, I get the following message:
/srv/htdocs/wp-content is write-able. When finished installing the plugin, change the permissions back to the default: chmod 755 /srv/htdocs/wp-content. Permissions are currently 775.
Please tell me step by step how to do this.

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help! As the notification states, the wp-content folder permission is set to 775 You can change this in several ways depending on the server access you have. Cpanel is the simplest way. Please check this article for more details on how to change the permissions or check with your host.
Thanks!
