W3 Total cache + WP Rocket

    Hello,

    We are using WP Rocket as our page caching option but we would like to add OBJECT caching like memecached on our website.

    Can you tell us what do we need to disable and enable in W3 total cache so we do have object caching option and we dont get conflict between those two caching plugins?

    Hello @polar031

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
    Generally speaking, it’s never recommended to use more than one caching solution. I would recommend using W3 Total Cache for everything as it’s the post complete caching solution, and when it comes to Page Caching, W3TC has a lot of caching methods you can choose between, including Disk: Enhanced and memory based caching.

    However, if you want to continue using both plugins, you should keep everything disabled in Performance>General settings, and only leave Object Caching enabled with Memcached caching method selected.

    I’ve personally never tested this behavior so, please let me know if this helps!
