    Just FYI to anyone having speed issues, this plugin causes a massive slowdown on some sites.

    Our site loads in 3-4 seconds, with a grade ‘A’ on the Pingdom test.

    After installing this plugin load times are 7-8 seconds, grade ‘C’ on Pingdom.

    Hi @thoughton

    I understand you are having issues with slowdowns on your site.

    Since you don’t post the results it’s hard to say what is causing the slowdown.

    On the server side, the plugins loads its code only when you upload an attachment, it has absolutely no effect on regular page loads and as such can’t slow down the page loading.

    On the frontend site, some of your images might grow in size when they get upscaled, which might make your images heavier. The impact of this is usually negligible.
