Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the 2010 theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Thank you so much for your response Christine,
I attempted to deactivate the “one” additional plugin that I installed 2 weeks ago, and a scary new warning occurred. I havent tried via ftp resetting yet (a little nervous). But also I’m starting to think it’s a theme problem (Gorilla themes), this is the 3rd problem I’ve had with them (and this site is only 2 1/2 weeks old). I’ve been awaiting an answer since Saturday (sent 3 postings).
I’ll brave up (this morning ) and try resetting plugin folder via ftp. Thanks again.
hmm.. deactivating plugins via ftp didn’t work. ( I renamed plugins folder to plugins.hold, pressed Ok, opened up my admin and warning still there) I closed went back to ftp renamed plugins folder back to original name).
I’m ready to jump ship and spend money on another theme. $100 bucks.. lost… and swallow the embarrassment of telling my client, I purchased a screw up template.
but maybe there’s hope.. is there anything else I should try … let me know 😉
Warning is:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘iu_add_pages2’ not found or invalid function name in /home/content/22/2553222/html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403
I would try switching to the default theme and then see if the message goes away.
It does sound like the error is coming from the theme. I do hope that they get back to you and have a fix for you.
Personally i would stick to the themes in the WordPress theme repo. None of the “premium” themes are premium at all.
Thank you again. I do suspect it is the theme I purchased. I needed a real estate base template and theirs (Gorilla themes) seem to have all the attributes I required.
I could change templates but I need to match the real estate attributes and least 75% the design/layout. I tested plugins, and other WordPress themes, and haven’t come close to a match yet.
I come from xhtml text coding background, and am just diving into CMS WordPress (the site affected is my 4th site). With xhtml sites, I troubleshooted my own stuff. I suspect I should start learning PHP if I’m going to offer WordPress to my clients.
Today is a new day, so I refocus.
With that in mind, any further suggested are welcome 🙂 BTW the site is diversifiedrcs.com. It appears well on browser review.
