Dear @herbertla ,
Thanks for reaching out.
The errors like that usually happen, when there is a permission issue.
May we ask you to make sure, the permission of the folder is 755?
In case you are getting the error even after having the needed permissions, please, share the full backup log file with us:
You can download the mentioned log file following the article below.
https://help.backup-guard.com/en/article/download-backup-log-file-fgh0gi/
Please send it via wetransfer.com using the link retrieving option.
Like this: https://prnt.sc/qr3ntv
In case you don’t have an access to your dashboard, you can download it using FTP client. All the backups and related stuff (e.g. log files) have been located in “/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/” directory.
Looking ahead to hearing from you soon.
Best,
BackupGuard Team
Thanks for response!
First of all, permisson of folder […]/wp-content/wflogs_virus was 750. Changing rights of folder to 755 was no resolution, same warnings!
Permisson of files:
[…]/attack_data.php was 600
[…]/config.php was 000
after changing files permission to 700, Backup is “success”!
Because these files belong to wordfence firewall, do you know what will happen if I will fix 700 to these files?
Dear @herbertla ,
Thanks a lot for getting back to us.
See, in case the folder has the 700 permission, it means, that only the owner has access to the folder.
But the workaround is to exclude the paths you mentioned above, set the 755 permission, and run a backup again.
The backup status will be ”Success” as well.
Please, note, if you exclude the paths, they won’t be included in the backup, and once you restore the backup, the plugin, which paths, you have excluded, may not work.
Please, get back to us, if you have additional questions.
Best,
BackupGuard Team
