Warning: call_user_func_array() on dashboard login?

    i’ve noticed on a few sites now that when I log into the dashboard the following error occurs at the top of the screen

    Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class ‘PluginUpdateChecker’ does not have a method ‘ses_http_request_args’ in /home/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 173

    Does anyone know what is causing this?
