I have a Warning message appearing at the top of my WordPress backend. It says, “WARNING: It looks like we need to Create the Database Tables First!” – when I click on the link it gives it brings me into the 301 Redirect Plugin. So I am guessing this is a warning related to the plugin. But I can’t for the life of me understand what is wrong or how to fix it.

Yup, that’s definitely our plugin complaining 🙁

Did you click the “create tables” link in the notification or deactivate/activate the plugin? That should create the necessary custom tables.

thanks for the response. Yes, I clicked on the link and nothing happened. I tried to deactivate and reactivate the plugin. The message only disappeared while deactivated. It came right back as soon as I activated the plugin again.

That means something is blocking the plugin from creating the table it needs. Try using our other redirect plugin. It’s very similar – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/301-redirects/
