I’m seeing this error when I debug the site

    • Inferred PropertyThe ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

I have Yoast installed, i have the right size social media image uploaded to all the right places within Yoast… I see no reason why I should be seeing this error… My site is ready to go live, but I can’t because no image shows when I share the site to Facebook/ other socials

    help please

    Hello @lovesites

Thanks for reaching out about your og:image. When I inspected your page source, I could see that some open graph meta tags but these are not generated by our plugin. Are you using another plugin to generate those? It could also be coming from your theme. So please turn those off and test again in the Facebook hsaring debugger.

Do let us know how it goes.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

I did all of the above, and it didn’t work… I ran the site through the debugger and still no image, I put the site on Fb, and still no image… sadly I don’t think the problem is with Yoast… what can I do next’?
