    Hi FunnelKit Team,

I noticed a warning in the browser console regarding the Google Maps address autocomplete integration on my checkout page.

It appears that the method currently used by the plugin (google.maps.places.Autocomplete) has been deprecated for new customers as of March 1st, 2025, and Google is recommending a migration to the new Place Autocomplete Element.

Here is the full warning message from the console:

“As of March 1st, 2025, google.maps.places.Autocomplete is not available to new customers. Please use google.maps.places.PlaceAutocompleteElement instead. […] While google.maps.places.Autocomplete will continue to receive bug fixes for any major regressions, existing bugs in google.maps.places.Autocomplete will not be addressed.”

Could you please confirm if there is a plan to update the Google Maps integration to support google.maps.places.PlaceAutocompleteElement to ensure future compatibility and stability?

I have attached a screenshot of the warning for reference.

    Thanks,
    [Twoje Imię]

    Hi @webidemic,

Thanks for using the Funnelkit Builder and for reaching out to us.

Our team reviewed this notification coming in the console from the Google address auto-complete API.

This needs some refactoring of the feature but you can ignore that notice coming on the console, and the legacy address auto-complete feature is still working without any issue.

Once the new API is released, this notification will disappear from the Funnelkit checkout.

    Thanks
    Team Funnelkit
