Warning!!! when Deleting this Plugin

    Important to take note of. When deleting this plugin, it deletes all memberships right off of wordpress. This is what it did to me.

    It removed the members from this plugin as well as from my mailpoet email list, my wordpress users, my LifterLM course / student enrollment. There should be a warning notice implemented that explains what will happen when you press delete. I only expected it to delete the plugin and not the people.

    So I have lost my entire email list & students on the course – not good at all.

    Hi, sorry to hear about this issue. The must be a conflict somewhere in your site with our plugin.

    The intended behaviour of our plugin when you delete is to keep the critical membership info and settings configuration. Those will not get deleted if you delete the plugin. This is to make sure someone doesn’t lose all their work if they accidentally deactivate and delete the plugin.

    Can you provide a list of all the plugins running in your site? Also, do you have a database backup of your site so you can restore your site?

    Thanks for your reply. I do have a backup. But restoring would of lost all the other work I made after I had discovered that the people were missing. I had made sure before I deactivated and deleted the plugin that I had added the people into my LifterLMS – which is the new membership/course plugin I had just added. But unfortunately that did not help to keep them. I think there may have been conflict between your membership and LifterLMS membership programs running along each other. But I have already successfully installed and converted all my content from your membership into LifterLMS as a course.

    Hi,

    I think there may have been conflict between your membership and LifterLMS membership programs running along each other.

    I suspect that is correct. Unfortunately we don’t have any addon for the membership program mentioned above.
