Warning when redirecting .html

I’ve noticed that my entries redirecting /yyyy/mm/mypost.html to /mypost/ have the following warning: “
Some servers may be configured to serve file resources directly, preventing a redirect occurring”

The redirects work ok when I test them, so can I ignore the warning?
