• It’s 10 years I’m developing wordpress themes for my clients, never had a problem with hackers (I use very few plugins and always keep the files up-to-date).
I tried this plugin in two websites: both were hacked in no time. Different hosting services, same hacker MO (FilesMan backdoors, same files uploaded etc….). Only thing in common between the websites was this plugin.

It looked promising, but obviously I’m never gonna use it again.
I’m curious to know if someone had the same problem.

I apologize for this… I, of course, cannot guarantee it was Client Dash, and I cannot guarantee it was not.

I thank you for bringing this possibility to our attention though. We will be performing a serious review of the plugin’s stability and potential vulnerabilities.

In the mean time, I truly apologize for any inconvenience this caused you. If there’s anything I can do, please let me know.

I wouldn’t assume Client Dash is to blame. I’ll advise you, laraborgi, to check with your hosting provider where the problem lies. Also very likely is that your server was compromised.

I’ve went over Client Dash’s codebase very recently, and as an experienced plugin developer I can tell that it’s written in a very secure way.

I think you should check with your hosting provider and consider changing your review score for this plugin.
