Yeah. Its not working for me either. If someone can provide some guidance?
Will this have anything to do with theme conflicts? I’m using the theme Valenti 3.2 and have had a number of conflicts with this theme.
I tried this fix http://detechdev.com/blog/fix-nextgen-gallery-2-0-conflicts but to no avail.

Would you mind, confirming for us that error persists after:
– disable all browser extensions/plugins/or add-ons
– Temporarily switching to WordPress default theme > clear browser cache & reload your site
– Deactivate all plugins (including NextGEN Gallery) > clear browser cache > re-activate NextGEN Gallery only & reload your site
Do any of those action steps help? I know this can be a big inconvenience, we’re very sorry – but since this is not happening for everyone, this does help tell us if there is a plugin/theme conflict. Or a browser related issue.

the text watermark works now, but not the image… is there a way to add a new font? the font i use is OTF.
@lusohouse – Thanks for confirming this is connected to your Theme. If this is a popular premium theme we’d be able to look into the theme conflict, please send details on this theme and the error here in a bug report: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ . It would be best to send a notice on this conflict to the Themes developer so they can look into the conflict as well.
@thestewartofny – what image file-type are you using for the watermark? Double check the URL to the image is correct as there may be a typo. There is no option for custom font, just the web-standard are available right now.

got it… i added the font to the ngglegacy/fonts folder. watermark works when i click Refresh Preview Image in the settings but i do not see the watermark on a post…

@thestewartofny – You’re quite savvy – good find! 🙂 If you’re comfortable modifying files on the server or code, than anything is possible in customizing the plugin I suppose 🙂 Try resetting your permalinks under settings >> permalinks, and reset them to ‘post name’, does that help? You might also try clearing the image cache
under Gallery > Other Options > Misc.

i did those steps but still no watermarks. I’m kind of trying to create a site that looks like http://www.filmmagic.com each post will shot a thumb, clicking on a post will then show thumbs of all the images in the album. is this possible with your plugin?
@thestewartofny – Yes, if you go here http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/help there is an album section that will take you step by step on how to set that up. 🙂 Hmmm, would you mind setting the watermark on that gallery again under Manage Galleries > batch actions > Set watermark, once done switch the gallery display to basic thumbnails and wait a few minutes. Clear your browser cache and check again. Does that help?
