Been having the same issue but with this fatal error message
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 35651584) (tried to allocate 6176 bytes) in …/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_data/package.module.nextgen_data.php on line 3977
I also have problems with watermarks. I wrote about it in other threads.

@cfarrand – Although you should be starting a new topic as well, you might be able to solve this by upping the PHP Memory Limit on your site … otherwise please do start a new topic.

@jfk65 – Everyone deserves to be heard, please start your own topic versus adding onto existing topics that may or may not be related. The OP deserve not to have their topic’s discussions sidetracked by others not specifically involved in their site’s issue.

Cool. I started my own topic 8 months ago and you have not helped me so far as this bug still is not resolved. I am just pointing that it is a common bug you should take care of.

I started a Watermarking topic under “Plugins and Hacks”. Since Nextgen is a plugin, I thought this the appropriate place to post the topic.
So far, all I get is advice on posting my own topic (whatever that means), but no one focusing on the subject of my post, which is Watermarking issues in Nextgen. It simply does not work. It used to work, but somewhere along the update path it stopped working.
