wc-api cannot redirect to payment gateway

Hello, I install a plugin to integrate payment gateway to the client’s WooCommerce e-shop but it does not work. After checkout it tried to redirect to gateway, but it give me only 404 error on url https://mysite.sk/wc-api/gpwebpaygpebinder_postredir.

I am in contact with plugin developer and we didn’t find solution for this. He told me, that this is not issue with his plugin, problem is with wc-api. I created local WooCommerce installation with same exact information I used to connect to live payment gateway and it worked in this test operation. Also I instaled all same plugins and theme as I use in live website and it still worked. So I figured that it is not problem with gateway or plugin. Something is blocking wc-api and it didn’t correctly redirect to gateway.

Can you please help me with this? I already lost 2 weeks of my time and it drives me crazy.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

This issue is coming from the WooCommerce GPWebPayGpe extension you are using, which might not be using a correct hook, or something wrong with their code, that it doesn’t redirect on their payment page, after user checkout.

You need to reach out to the plugin support for that, and see if they are able to provide any solution for this.

@daniyalahmedk As I wrote, I am in contact with GPWebPayGpe extension author and he didn’t figure it out because it works fine in other websites even on my local website I created with all same plugins and themes as I said. I reinstall plugin multiple times and author checked code multiple times but it didn’t find a problem on his side. So it looks like that in my installation it is something blocking wc-api redirect.

Hi @branislavbudzak

Since this is working without issues on your local installation, with the same plugins and theme, it must be either an error on your live installation or some obstruction coming from your server.

I’d recommend first contacting your host to see if there is any type of server-level API blocking.

If that’s not the case, you’ll want to start over with a fresh installation of WordPress, WooCommerce, and theme/plugins.

You could do that initially on a staging site. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/.
