    Hello guys,

    Right now we’re using WC Subscriptions along with memberships to allow restricted paid access to certain articles on that website.
    If a subscription period ends, the customer has to pay for another year to gain access again.
    However, the bill for the next period is sended at the expiration date, which means if the customer misses this email, he will lose access right away.
    Is it possible to send the bill e.g. 2 weeks before the subscription expires or renews (with an email like “hey, your subscription will expire in 2 weeks”)?

    I figured out that there’s a feature built in called “early renewal”. Nevertheless, the user has to do this by himself via a button click in his personal profile area which isn’t helpful either…

    Is this maybe possible with a newer version of WC Subscriptions / WC Memberships? Right now we’re using WC Memberships 3.5.4 aand WC Subscriptions 3.5 along with WC 3.5.7.

    Hey there!

    With just Subscriptions, by default, it’s not possible to send an advanced email like this. You would need to add a code customization or find another plugin to add this functionality.

    Memberships does have an option to send an email 1-60 days before the membership expires but I’m not sure if that functionality is supported with memberships that are tired to a subscription length – I would recommend trying it out on a test membership/subscription to see if it suits your needs!
