Still having this issue where my galleries will intermittently load and not load. Did you guys do an update lately? Please advise ASAP! Thanks.
Removed the plugin and tried to re-install and now it will not install. I receive the following message:
Installing Plugin: NextGEN Gallery 2.1.46
Downloading install package from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/nextgen-gallery.2.1.46.zip…
Download failed. Failed to write request to temporary file.
@guesssilk – Intermittent issues are very difficult to troubleshoot, especially if we are not able to see/reproduce them. As to the issue with the re-installation and the reference to the “temporary file” I suspect some sort of caching may be involved in this.
Also, for the re-installation issue, I would suggest using an FTP client or your server’s file manager (if available) to insure the NextGEN Gallery plugin folder and all of its content under /wp-content/plugins/ was completely removed when you uninstalled it. If it wasn’t then re-installing will require you to manually upload (and over-write) or manually remove the folder and all of its contents then using the WordPress UI.
