We could not retrieve data from the specified Element (Error)

    Hi,

    I am having an issue on my WooCommerce checkout page with Klarna and SEPA. When a customer selects Klarna or SEPA, this message appears:

    “We could not retrieve data from the specified Element. Please make sure the Element you are attempting to use has a payment method selection.”

    Credit/Debit Cards, iDEAL and Bancontact are working fine. I tested those successfully. The problem only happens with Klarna and SEPA. What is strange is that I remember Klarna and SEPA used to work before, so I am not sure if this is a temporary issue or if something is configured incorrectly now. I would appreciate any help on how to troubleshoot this.

    Hi @zaka888

    Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. Can you confirm that Klarna and SEPA are available in the stripe.com > settings > payment methods page?

    Do you have any other Stripe plugins active on your site? You can confirm this by going to the WordPress Admin > Plugins page.

    Hello, thank you for your fast response. Those settings were indeed turned off for some reason. They were enabled before. But now it seems to work! Thank you very much.

    Off topic: The payment icons for iDEAL and Bancontact are outdated. iDEAL now uses a new iDEAL | Wero icon and will eventually transition fully to Wero. Bancontact has also updated its branding and icon design. Could these icons be updated in the next release? I also opened a topic about this matter around a year ago.

    I’ll have the iDEAL and Bancontact icons reviewed. Based on Stripe’s website, the Bancontact icon matches what the plugin uses.

    But when looking at the Bancontact website assets, I see a slightly different logo. Is this the logo you’re referring to? https://www.bancontact.com/en/promotion-material/guidelines-logo
