Whats only needed settings to be turned on in Phoenix Media Rename Settings for this plugin to work, i want to disable unnecessary ones. I also see the after conversion to webp format filetype doesn’t change to webp. Thank you

Firstly thank you for using our plugin.

The Phoenix Media Rename settings do not make any difference to the database renaming as we use a specialised version of one of their functions and set the necessary settings on rename via code. So you can disable / enable any you like with no damage to the conversion process.

Please could you send a screenshot of where you are seeing the incomplete filetype conversion to [email protected]
Also please be aware if you are usinging an hosting or plugin based caching to please clear your cache before checking.

@richard-b Conversion is successfull, just file type is not getting updated.

@thetailoredhealth Thank you for your patience, we have just released a fix for the issue you mentioned.
Also if you visit the settings page (Settings > Media) you will see an update utility to correct any previously converted media to the correct MIME type.
We are really grateful you raised this issue as it was only happening on some server setups, if you would like to reach out to us on our support email address above we would like to offer you a bug bounty as a way of showing our appreciation.
