    Hi!

I use WebP Express on a couple of sites to auto generate WEBP versions of PNG and JPG files after I went live with a site to boost performance. It seems as ASE (Pro) automatically adds those files to the media library even though the original files are already added with alt description, title, etc.
One of the main issues is that not only the files are added to the library but that they are also showing up without the description added to the original files and they are of course not categorized as all the other files. This makes a big mess in the media library.

Is it possible to not add files to the library which are just “sidecar” files from originals that are sent to the client if the browser supports WebP?

    Kind regards,
    Helmut

@helmutsteiner since you’re mentioning ASE Pro, please login to your account and open a su pport ticket there. This wp.org forum is strictly for supporting the free version of ASE, per the forum’s guidelines. Thank you.
