I noticed this problem when BulletProof’s secured htaccess is active.

WebP Express with htaccess redirects and ALT HTML tags on.

    Homepage URL looks this: https://website.com//

As you can see there is double slash. When I remove the second slash, page is redirected to login page.

Google Page Speed Insights shows “too much redirects” on post pages.

    One more thing:

The problem appears on cached site (WP Rocket plugin). As Admin I can see non-cache site too and there is no problem then.

Please email me your root htaccess file so I can figure out which htaccess code is doing that. Most likely some additional custom code or maybe a typo in the htaccess code somewhere. Also send me the links to these websites so I can check the frontend for any obvious errors or problems. Use my contact form here > https://www.ait-pro.com/contact/

    Hi,

After htaccess investigation, I have found double slash in “HTTTP to HTTPS redirection”.
Probably it isn’t WebP Express conflict.

It is strange, as it worked fine before.

    Problem disappeared for now.
