WEBP formats are generated only for the thumbnails you’ve selected the size for in the “webp” setting tab. When it shows “Pending,” it means it’s ready to be built; just waiting for you to use the “build webp” button. Thanks!
In the WEBP settings of the plugin, ensure you have configured a delivery method; otherwise, the image won’t load natively. If this is already set, please try disabling your other plugins to ensure no incompatibility is occurring. Thanks!
Hi guys, is it possible to delete the unused thumbnails without the original file?
I’m referring to this option available in the Regenerate thumnails plug-in by Viper007Bond:
Delete thumbnail files for old unregistered sizes in order to free up server space. This may result in broken images in your posts and pages.
I want to delete the thumbnail files for old unregistered sizes in order to free up server space using your both plugins – media cleaner and perfect images. Is that possible?
The plugin uses WordPress core functions to ensure that WebP images are delivered if you have enabled this option in the corresponding tab.
If the changes don’t seem to reflect, please ensure you are not running any caching or optimization plugins that could automatically load previous versions of your pages where the images were not in WebP format. Thanks!
