    Hi @arindamg,
    I see multiple images being served as WebP on that page (around half of them), so it looks to b e working correctly.
    And yes, that is normal for the .htaccess rules in the sub-folder to be affected rather than the parent directory. My main development site is also a sub-directory install and it works perfectly with that setup.

    With the rewrite rules, there are no “redirects” and the URLs are not modified, so that the WebP image is served directly from the original JPG/PNG URL. You can see how to verify this in our docs (see the video): https://docs.ewww.io/article/16-ewww-io-and-webp-images
