webp replacement

    Hi,

    I’m having some trouble with the webp replacement on my website. Most images get replaced just fine. Some like my “Featured Posts” widget uses background images so those unfortunately don’t get replaced, I would very much like to request this function in a future update.

    A post slider towards the end of the page uses img scr like below
    <img class="img" alt="AAS Multiphonics" style="opacity: 1;" src="https://cdn.rekkerd.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/AAS-Multiphonics-600x450.png">
    But it isn’t replaced with webp. Any idea why?

    Thanks, the dev version seems to replace css background images fine, which is great.
    The section I was having trouble with (the slider with items with class slick-slide) is still not replacing images with webp.

    please try use the original URL instead of CDN subdomain URL ?
