WebP Rewrite not Working

    Hello,

    I have activated the rewrite method; but when i inspect my web in chrome/network/img. webp format is not checked.

    Previously, I used the <picture> tag method; but I want to convert the background images as well, that’s why I want to use the rewrite method.

    Marko from Imagify is here.

    Just adding a note here as we communicated about the problem within our internal support channel.

    Using rewrite rules didn’t work well most probably because of some caching layer or missing rewrite rules on the server. We ended up using the picture tags method.

    It’s still not a perfect method as it would not cover background images but it works for other images.

    We have tested this with alternative WebP plugin and it was the same problem.
