WebP support

Thank you for this plugin.
I recently turned my sites to using WebP since Firefox and Edge support for WebP recently started (besides Chrome, obviously), and then noticed the FooBox wasn’t working anymore.

After research, I came to this thread https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/images-are-loaded-in-new-tab-when-clicking-on-gallery-image/
which sort of claims that only JPG and PNG (and GIF perhaps?) are supported.
I then tested with Edge browser without WebP support and FooBox works.

Well, since WebP might be expanding widely in the near future, maybe you’d consider adding WebP support to FooBox (at least before too many people start switching to another box plugin) 😉

Is my guess correct or is there another reason to look for?
