WebP doesn’t work with Jetpack Carousel gallery

    I’ve activated WebP support with the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, and it works. The issue is in the Jetpack galleries; do not work with the WebP support active, showing these errors:

    The issue is related to WebP files and the Carousel gallery, maybe with EWWW Image Optimizer plugin. This occurs on my main web, but I tested it on a new WP installation, activating only Jetpack carousel galery and EWWW Image Optimizer plugin with WebP support, and the same thing happens.
