Hi
I have activated the “Create WebP Versions” and “Image WebP Replacement” features, so that the images on my site change from jpg to webP, but why do I see that nothing has changed the image?
Thank you-

Hi,
yes, it works with CF as well ,except you need to add our IPs into CF firewall
Best regards,
I also use wordfence plugin, do I also need to add your IP to exclude your IP from wordfence firewall?

Hi,
Yes, better to whitelist our IPs in WordFence as well
Best regards,
Hi
I have done it, but still the webp image still doesn’t show up
Here is the log: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/pcjphGNzyX/
Thank youI still don’t see any webp file
did you enable “create webp version” before you start image optimization ?
you can also go to your
/wp-content/uploads/directory , to see if any webp file existsI still don’t see any webp file
Thats the problem
did you enable “create webp version” before you start image optimization ?
Yes, would you like to see the settings I made on the webp?
you can also go to your /wp-content/uploads/ directory , to see if any webp file exists
Can’t you see it from the dev tools on the “network”?

Hi,
No , only you can see the directory content
you need to enable these options , and specially the first option , you need to enable it BEFORE you start to run any image optimization process
and after you enable this option , have you finished all image optimization process ?
please do me a screenshot on image optm page and your media page.
Best regards,
you need to enable it BEFORE you start to run any image optimization process
Yes, I enable it BEFORE I run the image optimization process
and after you enable this option , have you finished all image optimization process ?
Yes, but not all, because I run it using cron
I’ve created the video, here it is-

Hi,
but why you did you destory all ? that literally get rid of all generates images , including optimized images and webp images
you need to make that page looks like this , specially the part I marked , to be 100%

after that is showing 100%
go check in your file system , like this , make sure you see .webp files

and if you are using network , then you need to activate the plugin at network , and also enable webp at network level

Best regards

I just want to tell you, that even if I had optimized the image before enabling webP, then I destroy it and repeat the process of changing the image format.
you need to make that page looks like this , specially the part I marked , to be 100%
When I click “Send Optimization Request”, this error appears, do I have to wait every 5 minutes to optimize the image?
and if you are using network , then you need to activate the plugin at network , and also enable webp at network level
Yes, I have activated it
Thank youHi,
yes , each request is 5 minutes away , to avoid server overload
after first 4, 5 runs , the limit will be set to 200 images per each request
Best regards,

If I use cron to optimize the image, will it be able to auto-optimize it every 5 minutes?
Hi,
yes, as long as your cron is being triggered
Best regards,
Alright, the webp image has appeared now
But why are there still jpg images that haven’t been converted to webp, even though the optimization is 100%?
Thank youbecause in some cases , webp could be larger than original images, and in such case, there is no point to keep it
