Divi’s responsive image feature appears to mimic the core WordPress responsive images function, so our WebP functionality should work just fine alongside that.
Of course, if you can use .htaccess rules (which means you don’t use a CDN), that is layout-independent, and will work with any theme/plugin.
JS WebP Rewriting will operate just fine with srcset/src markup though, and that’s what Divi is using.

Thanks for your Reply. I use .htaccess rules with Apache and Cloudflare Free Plan, so Rewriting is done by Apache.
I don’t know yet if Cloudflare Free Plan will serve the Webp Files correct?
Thx
Sally
You need to remove the .htaccess rules right away, they will corrupt the Cloudflare cache. So you may need to purge your Cloudflare cache just to be safe.
With Cloudflare, you need to swap to the JS WebP option instead. See more info about EWWW IO and WebP at https://docs.ewww.io/article/16-ewww-io-and-webp-images
