Website appears different when logged in.
-
So this has me completely thrown.
I wanted to change “What’s your pain point?” to “Start. Shift. Accelerate.” on the footer across the whole website. http://radiuspoint.com/
It should be a simple change, I went into the footer.php and edited the text.
Easy peasy, it came right up on all the pages.
Then I went to show my manager, and “Whats your pain point?” was still showing up on every page — except for the homepage, which says “Start. Stop. Accelerate.” like it should. I went back to my machine, double checked all the pages and they were fine. I went to the other machine, thinking the page might just need to be refreshed – no luck. Came back to my PC, logged out and low and behold, same problem.
My first instinct was the main page and the rest of the page may just have different footers — but then why would they all have appeared correctly when logged in? In any case I went through all the .php files in the editor, there is no other footer and no other mention of “what’s your pain point?”
My second thought was that I had made the change and forgot to publish it — but that’s not an option in the theme editor where this change had to be made. At the same time, it is published just fine on the main page.
Is this a bug or something silly I completely glossed over?
Thanks!
