The breadcrumbs module caused rendering issues (incomplete rendering due to PHP error abort) before, which could only be resolved by temporarily deactivating the module.

This has been fixed, but after the recent update to 1.5.1 I noticed that articles are correctly displayed, but special characters (umlaut etc.) in blogs are incorrectly displayed.
It seems that articles presented as blogs are converted from latin1 to utf8, despite already being encoded in utf8 (e.g., “über” is displayed as “über” in blogs, but correctly in all other elements.)

With the Divi Breadcrumbs module deactivated, all content (complete articles and blogs) are correctly rendered.

    Hi @stesser,

I can see you have a breadcrumbs module installed on your website. However it is not this breadcrumbs plugin.

The latest version of this plugin is 1.2.3, this breadcrumbs plugin does not have a version 1.5.1.

Also in all our modules and plugins we mention our website. If you open a module developed by us it will mention it was created by learnhowwp.com

This will be mentioned at both places on Dashboard > Plugins page as well as at the bottom of the Module Settings.

Please check the plugins page or the module settings to find the website or contact details for the breadcrumbs module plugin you are using on your website and ask them to investigate the problem.

    Hope it helps!

Thank you for the quick reply!

I have just taken over administration of that web-site, a few months ago, and would not have implemented it as it is (would habe avoided using Divi at all cost).
No I see that this breadcrumbs module is part of the “Divi Booster” package – I’ll try to get a fix from divibooster.com …Thanks again, and sorry for missing the fact that “DivI” and “Divibooster” are independent products.
