Several times the backend crashes on Jetpack.

    Hey!

Since WordPress 5.2, there is a built-in feature that recognizes when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site and notifies you with this automatic email.

In this case, WordPress has found a problem with one of your plugins: Jetpack.

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused on line number 87 of the file /var/www/vhosts/katweg.nl/tijdlijn-coronavirus.nl/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/vendor/jetpack-autoloader/class-php-autoloader .php. Error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/vhosts/katweg.nl/tijdlijn-coronavirus.nl/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/vendor/automattic/jetpack-sync/src/modules/class-themes .php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/plesk/php/7.4/share/pear’)

    -0-0-0-0-0-0

    Fixed by removing Jetpack.

    Hi there,

E_COMPILE_ERROR type error could mean the update went wrong at some point or (a quite possible option) that host has something misconfigured on the server.

Could you please uninstall and reinstall the Jetpack plugin?

Let me know if the error is still there after doing the above step!

Thanks. I reinstalled the plugin and it seems to work better now. No delay in the CMS and no notifications.
