Also, I have contact my website host and they say everything is working well on their end and the problem must be due to the theme. When I change the theme, the website works fine but I have done so much work customizing the sela theme and really need it to work.
Any suggestions on what to do are very welcome! Thank you!
I am facing similar issue.
Unable to log on to the site through wp admin.
I am worried.
I am based in India and and not sure whom to contact now.
I still can’t access my site or make any changes through the admin page. is there a bug that needs to be fixed? Does anyone know how to contact the developers directly?

You can remove the Sela theme folder via an FTP tool in wp-content/themes/ or using your host’s control panel if they offer one.
I just tested the latest version of Sela – 1.0.6 – with WordPress 4.2.4 and am not seeing any issues with it, if you’d like to give it a try.
If you still have issues, please try temporarily deactivating your plugins one at a time and see if the issue persists. If it returns to normal, reactivate your plugins one by one to find the culprit.
