Website down, unable to login
-
Hi. I have a website that I don’t frequently access but keep it live for business reasons. Today I tried to login to it by simply adding the /wp-admin extension to the URL like I usually do. I got this message:
Warning: require(/home/jennyfi2/public_html/wp-includes/version.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jennyfi2/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 30
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/jennyfi2/public_html/wp-includes/version.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/jennyfi2/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 30
I get the same message when I simply try to visit my site. I don’t have a clue what to do, because I can’t even get to my dashboard apparently. Anyone have any ideas for me? Please keep in mind that I’m really wet behind the ears with WordPress and with website-building in general. I’ve seen advice elsewhere to login using FTP, but I don’t know how/where to do that.
Thanks
