• Hi there,
last night, I added wp-ticker plugin to my website (www.tsvwieblingenhandball.de). As far as I remember, I tried activating the plugin, but the process somehow didn’t finish, and when I tried to reload the admin page, all I got was a blank page. And now that’s all there is to see on the entire website: blank pages, no matter which URL you try (such as wp-login.php)
As far as I remember, I was on WP 3.1.3, Weaver theme. My host is comsitec.
From what I’ve seen on similar support threads, removing the plugins might be an idea. However, I’m having trouble logging on to phpmyadmin. Is there any way I can delete the single plugin I added last night? Would it be a really bad idea to delete it via ftp or parallel confixx?
By the way, and sorry for the stupid question: Is there a way to backup my database without phpmyadmin?

I have now renamed the folder of the wp-ticker plugin ‘wp-ticker-disabled’ – and the site is back online!

Any advice on what was wrong, how to fix this permanently (and on the backup questions) is still highly appreciated!
