Did you follow this guide on moving WP? See if you missed anything.
yes, i have done that, exactly to the letter. I have transferred several domains and never had any problems like this before. My provider keep giving me different reasons each time, database being wrong, missing files or error in a plugin.. but each time i reset and transfer the files again i’m still having this issue. Even when transferring files directly from the previous server to the new using ftp, i still seem no closer to getting a solution.
Your new host is Ionos (one and one)? If not you haven’t adjusted your DNS server yet.
You should call your host for help but I’m also concerned because I’m seeing an Nginx server at the IP address advertised for your new(?) server.
If your server is an Nginx box but had been an Apache-based box then using FTP possibly bought over the htaccess file which won’t work with Nginx itself. And only your host can answer that and the other questions that would bring up.
Else, I’m thinking you might have FTP’d things in binary to your PC then Ascii mode going the other direction or vice versa… Following the documentation, as suggested by @t-p, should have gotten you a viable migration otherwise.
This may also be a PHP and files permissions or ownership problem.
