Website loads forever

    Hello!

    I’m having a strange issue throughout my site on all pages.
    Any page opens up quickly but then it keeps loading something for at least 2 minutes.

    It is especially noticeable in Chrome and Firefox due to their loading animation in the corner of the tab and also a “loading”, “waiting” text at the bottom.

    I thought it can be cause by some plugin, so I deactivated them all for a test, but that didn’t help.

    Would really like to solve that issue.

    Also try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Alternately, if you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Yes, with Health Check in Default Theme mode it loads quickly.

    Now how do I understand what exactly in my Theme causes the long load?

    This suggests problem with your ares theme.

    I recommend asking/reporting at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/ares so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.
