I found out who the host is, of course there is no phone number and I do not have log in information so I have no idea if my general email will ever be answered. Is there anything else I might be able to do? We are a very small business no IT dept. etc.

after installing wordpress it showed me normal sample page. then my site godofoverflow.org went on blank after activating Wp Launcher Theme by WPArchive.com

Change the webhost and create freshly. A webhost who has no phone number and no login information, what else you can actually do ? : (

You are having that 500 IS error. Go to FTP and add a dot as renaming for that Wp Launcher Theme’s folder, to make it inactive. That will solve your issue.
